Prizes
Our prizes vary from year to year, ranging from an e-book reader or PDA, gift certificates, and check/money order. Winners are chosen from each age group (Middle School and High School) and each category (Essay, Poetry, and Short Story).
Winning entries are published in EPIC's annual New Voices Anthology and a printed version, containing one CD version, is shipped to each winner as well as their school's library. Extra copies of the annually printed New Voices Anthology may be purchased at cost (plus s/h) directly from EPIC.
Each year students are invited to EPIC's annual conference (with adult supervision), where they have the opportunity to meet industry professionals and learn more about e-books - one of EPIC's favorite topics. They are also invited to a very special luncheon to honor New Voices winners and entrants.
A grand-prize winner will be selected from each division (Middle- and High-School) and will receive $100 cash.
The grand-prize winners will be chosen from first-prize winners of each category (Middle- essay, poetry, and short story, and High School essay, poetry, and short story).
